You can see the status of your current holds by logging into My Library Account. Any holds in process or waiting to be picked up will display there. (Once you check out an item on hold, it is removed from this list.)

You'll receive an email whenever an item you've placed a hold on is ready to be picked up. 

Items from the same branch as your pickup location are usually available the same day (but not within minutes of placing the hold). Items that must be delivered between branches, including remote storage, take longer. Deliveries only occur on weekdays.
