First, double-check the book's availability or details in Discovery Search, or from our library's homepage:

  • Q:  Has it been checked out? You'll see a due date.
  • Q:  Are you looking in the right location? Some items are shelved in special locations.
  • Q:  Do you have the complete call number? You'll need the full call number to locate the book.

If you can't find the book on the shelf, contact the Services Desk or staff in the branch library for help.

You may also request for or place a hold on the book in Discovery Search, or from our library's homepage. See the following FAQ, or related links below for more information.

Additionally, if the book is not located (i.e., checked out, missing, or not available) you can request the book from another library through Interlibrary Loan (ILL). If you log in to My Library Account before you view missing book records in Discovery Search, you will see a link to "Request from Interlibrary Loan" under "LOCATION ITEMS" on the item page. You will be prompted to log into your ILL account, ILLiadILLiad will fill (auto-populate) the book information for you.
