Newman Library is open to patrons and is providing in-person services. However, to reduce the amount of time patrons have to spend at our service point, we recommend that you use the Online payment method, or send in your checks or money orders by mail, as indicated below.

Check My Library Account for any fines you may have. If a book is overdue and not yet turned in, additional fines will accrue.

Online: Fines can be paid online using the Hokie Passport payment form, but not with debit or credit cards. To add funds to your Hokie Passport, please see the following FAQ.

In Person: If fines have not been sent to the Bursar's Office, they may be paid at the Newman Services Desk on the second floor. You may pay with funds on your Hokie Passport, check, or money order. We do no accept cash, credit, or debit cards.

By Mail: Please include your account information and make checks or money orders payable to Treasurer, Virginia Tech and mail to: Circulation Unit P.O. Box 90001 Blacksburg, VA 24062-9001

Please note that any charges that have been sent to Accounts Receivable at the Bursar's Office must be paid at the Cashier's Window in the Student Services building. Payments will be visible on the account the next business day.

For additional information, please see the following Fine payment FAQ.
