We stopped using the Addison catalog in May 2018 and migrated all the records to a new catalog system. Individual URLs to catalog records (of the form http://addison.vt.edu/record=b12345678) will no longer work. Other old Addison URLs will redirect to the search page in the new catalog.

We strongly recommend searching our collections using Discovery Search on the library's home page. Discovery Search indexes much of our online and all of our physical collections, and includes filters and limiters to fine-tune results. Please visit our Discovery Search Tool Information Hub page for more information.

You can access My Library Account via the library's home page under the Quicklinks section, or from the Discovery Search page. Select Sign in or My Account from the Menu (top right), then log into your library account.

Note there are two logins. Login using: (select the correct link)

1) Virginia Tech Account (for students and employees); or

2) Local Login (Virginia Tech Library cardholders not directly affiliated with the university (e.g. alumni, local community members).

You will be able to see items currently checked out to you, renew those items, see pending holds, and any fines you may have accumulated.
