The University Libraries' Long-Term Technology Loans are now open for Fall 2025!
The Studios Technology Lending Desk at the University Libraries has a subset of equipment available for semester-long special research, teaching, and personal projects (note that it cannot replace students' requirement to purchase a computer for their coursework). Faculty, staff, and students will fill out the request form for equipment, and if we receive more requests than we have equipment available, the decision for who will receive the equipment will be made via weighted lottery. Research or teaching projects, and projects involving a library or TLOS partnership carry more weight.
For priority consideration and inclusion in the lottery, requests should be submitted by September 3rd, 2025, and others will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis. Equipment pickup will begin the second week of the semester and must be returned within a week of the end of semester.
