Rosetta Stone offers online instruction in at least 25 languages, including English as a second language. Rosetta Stone resource is restricted to current Virginia Tech students, faculty, and staff.
Online software using a web browser
Always start with the Login with CAS link (https://guides.lib.vt.edu/rosetta-stone) in your browser, where you'll create a personal profile to track your progress.
Mobile app versions
You can also use Rosetta App on your phone or tablet. Install the app, then open the link here in your device's browser. Login through the standard VT login page, then use the Launch Rosetta Stone link (https://guides.lib.vt.edu/rosetta-stone) in your browser to open the app. Never open the Rosetta App first.
NOTE: Does not work on Windows Mobile Phones due to a lack of a Rosetta App or Adobe Flash.
