You can see what books are currently checked out to you, any fines you may have, and any books you requested and are being held for you. Simply log into My Library Account.
You can also access My Library Account from the library's home page > Menu > Find & Borrow > My Library Account, or under Quicklinks.
To view or check your Library account, simply start from the Discovery Search page, select Sign in or My Account from the Menu (top right), then log into your library account.
Note there are two logins. Login using: (select the correct link)
1) Virginia Tech Account (for students and employees); or
2) Local Login (Virginia Tech Library cardholders not directly affiliated with the university (e.g. alumni, local community members).
For assistance with library services such as placing holds, renewing books, recalling items, reviewing checkouts, or addressing library fines, please contact the library during our operating hours.
