You can access most of our electronic resources while connected to the internet through the campus network. You can use public computers in the library or connect to the Virginia Tech wireless network as a guest. The majority of our resources, including ebooks, ejournals, streaming videos, can then be accessed without an additional login.

Remote access to our subscription resources is contractually limited to current students and employees. While local residents can get a library card to check out physical materials, that card does not provide remote access to our online resources (because that would violate the terms of our contracts with the online resource vendors).
