ILLiad is our interlibrary loan (ILL) system. Virginia Tech current faculty, staff, and students can create an ILLiad account, then request books, articles, and more that we do not have in our local collections. ILLiad is also the system used to request a scan of an article or book chapter from a print item.

ILLiad will show you current and previous requests and their statuses

We've set up links in Discovery Search, by searching on our library homepage, and the Get VText system that will fill out the request form for you, ensuring important citation information is included on the form that will speed processing.

ILLiad was developed here at Virginia Tech and is now owned by OCLC.
