All weekday visitors will need to display a parking permit, utilize the ParkMobile app, pay a fee, or pay using an hourly meter to park on the Blacksburg campus, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m., unless otherwise noted by signage. Check the Parking Services website for detailed information on parking rules and regulations.

If purchasing multiple daily passes at once, please visit Parking Services in person at 505 Beamer Way, Monday - Friday, 7 a.m. - 5 p.m., or call at 540-231-3200.

To get more information go to the University's Visitor Parking page.

Although permits to park on campus are not required on weekends, special parking rules apply on days when the university is hosting home football and basketball games.

Here are the recommendations for parking lots close to each of our branches:

Newman Library

Alumni Mall is closest to our main entrance, Squires Lot is close to our first floor entrance by the cafe. The Drillfield is unrestricted after 8 p.m. weekdays and all day weekends.

Art + Architecture

Use the Perry Street Garage. Derring lot is currently under construction.

Veterinary Medicine

Visitors can park in the lot next to the building, or in the large residential parking lot next to the complex. Visitors must stop at the Veterinary Clinic service desk and get a visitor's pass to enter the building.
