How can I add a link to my Google Scholar Profile to Elements?

Answer

You can add your Google Scholar Profile to your Elements profile by following these steps:

Keep in mind that your publications / scholarly works will not be imported from Google Scholar. This merely links your Google Scholar Profile to your Elements profile, and it will display in the top-right section of your profile under ‘Other profiles.’ If you've made your Elements profile public on Virginia Tech Experts, it will display on the left-hand side of your profile.

If you do want to import your works from Google Scholar, you can do so by downloading a BibTeX file from Google Scholar and importing it into Elements.

If you are in the College of Engineering, you are required to link your Google Scholar Profile to your Elements profile so that Google Scholar data (total citations, reporting year citations, and h-index) are imported into your FAR.
