Newman Library in Blacksburg does not provide proctoring services. Virginia Tech Students in the national capital region can have their tests proctored at the Northern Virginia Center (NVC) in Falls Church. To request this service, email the NVC Library at nvclibrary@vt.edu.

Students taking courses through a Virginia community college should check their college website for information. You can find the proctor request for Northern Virginia Community college (NOVA) on their testing information page. Similar to campus-based courses, faculty at NOVA will be proctoring your assessments virtually during a scheduled day and time using either Respondus Monitor and Respondus Lockdown Browser and/or Zoom Live proctoring scenarios. Please see the following NOVA online proctor request form and their testing information page for more information.

New River Community College (NRCC): Please see the Proctoring Request Form, and the Testing Centers page for further information.

Montgomery-Floyd Regional Library (MFRL): MFRL provides provides free proctoring services to support their patrons’ educational and career goals. Please complete the Request for Proctoring form to request an appointment. Please also review the Proctoring Guidelines
