Yes, all of our libraries are open for anyone to use during operating hours. The only exclusion is Newman Library. During the fall and spring semesters you must have a Virginia Tech ID to use Newman Library between the hours of midnight until 7:30 AM.
Anyone may use any of our physical collections on site, and our public computers allow for guests to log on. Almost all of our online resources can be accessed by anyone on site.
Residents of Virginia and other Virginia college students can get a borrower's card to be able to check out materials.
Interlibrary loan services and remote access to our online resources are restricted to current students and faculty. Access to the campus's wireless network is restricted to current students and faculty.
